Advanced Outlook Repair by Data Numen: This product is very complex, a little too complex to use maybe. It recovered our corrupted Outlook .pst file but we had some issues with it's interface. It's complicated to use, and this could cause the regular user to spend too much time figuring out how it works. We wouldn't recommend this product unless you are an advanced user and have a lot of time in your hands. The resulting file extracted emails but not the calendar.
Kernel for Outlook Repair by Nucleus Data Recovery: Although this utility recovered our missing emails and data we had some complications. We weren't able to reestablish all of Outlook's properties. This was very annoying for us because we had to reset and configure our accounts once again manually. That represented for us a big waste of time, time we didn't have. Overall this is not a bad product, but there are better things in the market and I would recommend to look for a more complete tool.
OutlookFIX by Cimaware Software: We loved working with this tool. It's great features make it very complete. OutlookFIX recovers all types of corrupt Outlook files. We were able to recover, not only our emails, but all the attachments, calendar appointments and data, contacs information, notes and tasks. It also includes a great tool that allows you to split a .pst file into several smaller files, putting an end to the 2gb limit problem.
The undelete function is another important feature. It lets the user to recover emails or data that were deleted by accident or virus attack.
Out of all the programs we tried out this one is the most complete and easy to use.
